God’s question to be remembered

Will you even put me in the wrong?
Will you condemn me that you may be in the right? Job 40:v8

I believe this is one of the most profound questions God asked Job among the many in the final chapters of the book. Though directed specifically at Job, it speaks to every human being. It is in our nature to blame others for the failures and shortcomings in our lives. At times, we may even question God—asking why He didn’t act in a certain way or intervene differently.

But the truth remains: God is good, and His will for us is always aimed at our highest good. God is holy. We cannot condemn Him for the things that go wrong in our lives—whether due to our own mistakes or the actions of others. Let us never murmur against God when life becomes difficult. Instead, let us trust in His wisdom, His justice, and His unfailing love.

“All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags”Isaiah 64:6.
